Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel coped with the death of his longtime friend Paul Walker with the help of his new movie the supernatural action film 'The Last Witch Hunter.'
The upcoming action flick of director Breck Eisner 'The Last Witch Hunter' stars Vin Diesel, as an immortal witch hunter named Kaulder, Diesel's role was cursed by the Witch Queen to roam the Earth for eternity, but can never reunite with his loved ones in the afterlife.
Diesel said in a statement, "Death was a huge theme last year," Vin Diesel also said, "There was some sort of a therapy about playing this role after going through the death of Paul Walker."
He continued by saying, "The idea that someone immortal has a feeling of sadness. 2014 was a tough year for me in some ways - a lot of ways. Playing a role that was masking his sorrow - his loss - was very appropriate for the time, for a reason that's what I was doing in real life with the post-Furious 7."
However, Vin Diesel will come back to push through the Fast & Furious franchise with Furious 8 and joining him is F. Gary Gray the helmer of the American biographical drama film - Straight Outta Compton who is set to direct the motion picture. Vin Diesel said that Paul Walker, took a lot of pride in the Fast & Furious franchise and he would be smiling down at the idea that they have reached another chapter of the franchise. Furious 8 is slated to hit theaters in 2017 and apparently Vin Diesel already knows how everything in the film ends up.
In addition, American actor Paul Walker died in late 2013 after the Porsche in which Walker was riding in crashed and burned during a holiday break during the filming of the latest installment of The Fast and Furious franchise - Furious 7.
