Ed Sheeran Lands A Role In Bridget Jones' Baby

"Thinking Out Loud" singer Ed Sheeran is making a name not just in the music industry, but evn in the acting world. From having a recurring role at a TV series for "The Bastard Executioner" to now making an appearance at a major movie production for "Bridget Jones' Baby" (the Bridget Jones' Diary sequel), it is clear that Sheeran is on for world domination in the area of performing arts.

The Inquisitr wrote about this new venture that the pop singer is getting himself to as he prepares to work with other Hollywood actors like Renner Zellweger, Patrick Dempsey and Colin Firth for the Bridget Jones' sequel.

Sheeran's part in the movie was already shot when he performed at the Croke Park in Dublin during his own concert. The production for the movie was already on going that time and Zellweger's double was there along with the cameras to film parts of it for the said movie. In an article published by The Sun, producers of the movie revealed that they only sent Zellweger's double on that set because they were afraid it might create a commotion.

Sheeran's heart piercing lyrics and melodies seem to be fitting for the movie and character of Bridget Jones, but it would seem that he won't just be playing as a singer in this movie. There are reports saying that producers are considering of giving him some speaking lines. The singer can totally pull this off since this is not the first time he will be working as an actor.

He once made an appearance in a soap opera in Australia called Home and Away and he did a good job along with his recent stint on The Bastard Executioner.

It is clear that Sheeran with his doctorate degree in Music, an ongoing successful career in both music and acting, he is the kind of guy who serves as a good example to the youth of this generation.
