Bradley Cooper: 'American Sniper' Star Will 'Never' Sleep With Jennifer Lawrence

Bradley Cooper wants to keep things platonic with his recurring co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

The 40-year-old "Burnt" actor recently stopped by Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show on Wednesday, when he finally debunked any existing and future rumors on his relationship with 25-year-old Jennifer Lawrence.

"Do you think because of all these movies that you've been in with Jennifer Lawrence, I guess the question has to be answered: when are you two going to have sex?" asked Stern.

Bradley Cooper then answered, "It just didn't happen," clarifying that he would "never" sleep with his "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star. "It's not the way we are together."

Cooper previously reasoned out that Jennifer Lawrence was too young for him. But Bradley has now admitted that that wasn't entirely true.

"I said that once on a red carpet just as a diffuse thing," said Bradley Cooper. He continued, "And then it became a thing because the girl I was seeing [23-year-old Suki Waterhouse] was as young as she was."

According to Entertainment Tonight:

"While they are not romantically involved, Cooper does have a deep respect for Lawrence, and supports her recent essay on the gender wage gap in Hollywood. The actor told ET last week that he agrees that the double standard is a problem."

"There's a double standard in the whole world, yeah, for sure. This is just one aspect," explained Bradley Cooper. "Anytime there's a place where a voice can come out and be outspoken - something Sienna [Miller] did, or Jennifer - that's great. [...] I think it is making a difference."

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are starring in the upcoming film, "Joy," which is set to hit theatres on December 25 this year. Take a look at the trailer below.
