Glen Rice Jr. Shot: NBA Player Caught In Gunfire At Rapper T.I.’s Restaurant

A verbal fight turned physical outside rapper T.I.’s restaurant, Scales 925, in Atlanta on October 25. Former NBA player Glen Rice Jr. was involved in the brawl, and wound up injuring his leg after getting caught in the line of gunfire when the altercation in the parking lot escalated.

An employee of the restaurant told police five or six men were asked to leave after an argument began and that they continued to fight outside the restaurant. A shot was fired by an unidentified individual, and Rice is the only known victim.

Officers found a backpack with 240 grams of marijuana and close to $6,000 near the scene. Rice was booked on charges of reckless conduct and possession of marijuana, though an investigation into the altercation is ongoing.

The cops reportedly have footage of Glen Rice Jr. running away from the scene and throwing a gun of his own down a stairwell, according to TMZ.

The report goes on to say that Rice Jr. was picked up by someone driving a black Porsche, and they eventually stopped near several policemen and told them that Rice Jr. had been shot but that they didn’t know by whom. That’s when things just got worse.

The man who reportedly picked Glen up from the scene was Stephen Pryor, and it’s not the first time these guys have found themselves in trouble with the law. Glen was pulled over while driving in 2012, with Stephen as a passenger in his car that time, and Pryor admitted to firing a pistol.

After that incident, Stephen was charged with discharge of a firearm while under the influence and Glen was charged with permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle.

Rice is a former Georgia Tech standout and the son of three-time NBA All-Star Glen Rice.
