The creator of the British reality television, music competition X Factor UK - Simon Cowell and the English pop singer and songwriter - known as a member of the boy band One Direction - Louis Tomlinson, are collaborating to create a new girl band.
The 23-year-old Louis Tomlinson stated that, "I've got a little label imprint so I'm trying to work with that at the moment. I'm fortunate enough to be working with Simon Cowell. Simon and I got a few different projects going on at the moment, and one of which is we're trying to collaborate to make a girl band."
Louis Tomlinson added that he's looking forward to engaging a more low-key part in the project, and said, "It's really causing a great enthusiasm and eagerness to be part in the different side of it, the background."
However, the English television talent judge and mentor Simon Cowell, who created the X Factor UK show in 2006, who is now its executive producer, and gets often ''softie'' when it comes to his son, 20 month old Eric Philip said, "I think they've got to take a few time off. That schedule after five years was unlikely to be true."
Recently, the entrepreneur Cowell, exchanged opposite views with Sony executives that, with Simon Cowell on board, the X Factor UK could be moved back to L.A. where the show is inexpensive to produce. Simon Cowell's X Factor's live finals commence this weekend, with the final 12 contestants going head-to-head for the first time.
Nevertheless, Simon Cowell expressed warm admiration for America's Got Talent's judges and former Spice Girl member Mel B, the German model, television host and fashion designer - Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel (famous as the host of the NBC game show Deal or No Deal) even as Cowell admitted to having "no idea" if they will be coming back to the show.
