Derek Jeter: Ex Yankee Is Engaged to Sports a Illustrated Swimsuit Model Hannah Davis

Model Hannah Davis is more than just Derek Jeter's on-and-off girlfriend for about three years — while dating the ex-Yankees captain, she's had a meteoric rise to the top of the modeling world that now includes the cover the 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Over the years, they have been photographed together even if they are both extremely private about their relationship.

When people noticed Davis wearing a piece of bling on her ring finger in August, engagement rumors circulated.

The couple supposedly planned to marry in a secret ceremony on Long Island, New York, this October as reported by TMZ. However, that proved not to be the case.

The 24-year-old, dark-blond beauty, a 5-foot-10 hottie, grew up in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and was discovered while in her teens by the model scouting agency Ginny Edwards.

Jeter has a long line of gorgeous women by his side and Davis is the latest. Other women who were romatically linked to him are Minka Kelly, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, and Vanessa Minnillo (now Lachey).

Page Six reported that the baseball star does not seek attention from ladies who are too well known. In February 2014, the newspaper said Jeter had broken up with Davis because she was becoming too famous.

This will be Jeter's first marriage, he's never been engaged or had kids before either.

The now-retired MLB player hinted in an interview in January 2015, that his priorities in life were changing. He stated that,  "I just know that I personally couldn't have done it while I was playing," Jeter reflected to Steiner Sports Marketing of settling down. "I was too selfish to be able to juggle a family and kids. But I look forward to it happening."

Hannah Davis  played on the Caribbean Tennis Circuit .She was only eight when she started playing the sports and was a champion while on the Caribbean National tennis team. Davis was also a member of the Virgin Islands National Volleyball Team.
