In an interview with Tom Brokaw in Today TV show last October 30, 2013, The 40 year old actress Angelina Jolie was completely bragging about how her husband Brad Pitt made her feel like a complete woman despite her double mastectomy in 2013. The actress was very proud and happy in the interview while talking about how lucky she is with Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt reportedly is not going to let her feel less of a woman. Brad was with her all through out the process even though she was fully prepared with the so called operation.
Angelina Jolie was diagnosed with a BRCA1 gene that has an 87% risk of having a breast cancer last 2013 which was strongly believed that she inherited from her mother Marcheline Bertrand who was also an actress. Jolie underwent a preventive double mastectomy. It was also said that the defective cancer genes was a maternal family history since her aunt who also had the BRCA1 genes died because of breast cancer almost 3 month after Angelina Jolie's operation. And in March 2015 she was again diagnosed with an ovarian cancer and had her ovaries removed by undergoing a preventive oophorectomy.
Angelina was able to surpass all the difficulties in life and never hid her story from the public since she wants to be an inspiration to women who might also go through what she has been through. The past experience was pretty tough for her, her 51 years old actor husband Brad Pitt and their children. But after everything that Angelina went through, Brad just stayed by her side and supported her all throughout.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has been married since 2014. The couple has 6 kids, 3 of the 6 kids are adopted and come from different races, Maddox is Cambodian, Zahara is Ethiopian and Pax is Vietnamese. The other 3 kids are Shiloh, Knox Leon and Vivienne who are biological.
