New Spiderman Reboot Casting Update and Sam Raimi Wants Another Chance To Direct

Over the years, one of the most respected superhero characters in film has been loved by many and it's none other than Spiderman. It was made famous by Toby Maguire, but somewhere along the way, the casting has changed especially when the story returned and this time played by Andrew Garfield. According to The Inquisitr, the former director of the said franchise is aware on how he "messed up" creating Spiderman 3.

An update was released saying that Peter Parker will now be played by Tom Holland, who is only 19. Marvel is okay with this since it is exactly what they are going for regarding Spiderman's character and new image. The studio is unsure if they would be able to pull off the remake of the movie this time, but based on their track records making Spiderman, we don't think they have anything to worry about.

This is the only news about the casting and also Marissa Tomei playing Parker's Aunt May. And no, it is looking like Raimi is not getting another chance directing this one since they already picked Jon Watts to work on it. He is not that famous for big-budget-movie productions and it is definitely out of his comfort zone since he used to direct comedy films. But he is a promising one and the studio saw some potential in him.

Going back to Sam Raimi's wanting to work on the movie again, he admitted he messed up working on Spiderman 3. There is an interview with The Week that he confessed saying,  "I messed up on the third one. I think they're so complete now, Marvel. They probably don't need me anymore. But if they needed me? I'd love to. It's great to be wanted."

It's just sad that fans no longer want him to be a part of this as well.
