Indiana Jones is one of the most iconic films ever done in Hollywood made popular by Harrison Ford and directed by Steven Spielberg. Now, there are rumors of its reboot and Chris Pratt is among the actors that is said to be the one playing it this time. Frank Marshall who is the producer of the film finally released a statement about these rumors.
As per Hollywood Life's recent report and interview with Marshall, he said that they are actually considering a lot of actors to play that famous role. The truth is, they haven't even really talked about the whole casting situation just yet, but sooner or later they will. He also said that there is no doubt that a lot of actors are on their minds to be the next Indiana Jones.
On the other hand, there is also a huge chance that they wont need to recast and might just stick to the original casting. The studio as well might just have other thing in mind for the series to push through and that would involve the whole change of the story line including adding new characters. Marshall said, "[We're] not doing the Bond thing where we're going to call somebody else Indiana Jones. We have to figure this out."
For those who loved Harrison Ford in the original film, this could come in as some good news if ever they won't try to find his replacement for the reboot. And if Ford is not going anywhere as Indiana Jones, then Cinema Blend could be right that the story could open some new doors for a new character to be added. As a matter of fact, a lot of the film's followers are expecting to go this path.
