Ridley Scott Says ‘Prometheus 2’ Will Reveal Who Created the Aliens

The United Kingdom born film director and producer - Ridley Scott and his Prometheus stars have been chatting up the film sequel for quite some time, and each new update makes the project much more interesting. The latest film update comes from director Ridley Scott himself, who slipped on some plot details as the movie got on board a Spectre screenwriter to the mix.

Director Ridley Scott, who helmed the 2015 American science fiction film 'The Martian,' said that, "I'm coming back into the back-end of Alien 1. I'm gradually getting to Alien 1." "Prometheus 2 will start filming in February and I've already begun now so I know what the script is. Then there will be another one after that and then maybe we'll back into Alien 1, as to why? Who would do such a dreadful thing?"

The last Prometheus film ended with Noomi Rapace, the Swedish actress who achieved international fame with her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in the Millennium series: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, travelling in a jet in search of the Engineers, while back on the LV-223 moon, a Xenomorph (fictional endoparasitoid extraterrestrial species) was hatched.

The words of director Ridley Scott also echo previous statements, in which director Scott made it clear that only after a potential third or fourth sequel of the Prometheus would the franchise lead back into Alien. As for director Ridley Scott, the purpose of these Prometheus prequels is to clarify this universe and the whys and hows of these creatures.

Ridley Scott said, "I always had an opinion of Alien as a kind of piece of bacterial warfare. I always had the idea that the original ship, which I call the Croissant, was a battleship, holding these biomechanoid creatures that were all about destruction."

Alien: Paradise Lost is slated to fire up theaters on May 30, 2017.
