McDonald's-Inspired Runway Showcased Clothes Made From Burger Wrappers, Fries Boxes and more

Before the clothes are displayed on a fashion show, the designers study fashion trends, sketch designs and deliberately select the materials to be used. In the latest event of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, many jaws dropped witnessing the gorgeous runway looks as well as the performances of some international performers.

But the models at the Funkshion Fashion Week in Miami Beach, Florida showcased an unusual high fashion garb as per HNGN. Inspired by one of America's popular fast food companies, the clothes that were used by the models were made from McDonald's burger wrappers, McCafe coffee cups, straws, French fry boxes and other fast food items.

After weeks of preparation, "McDCouture'' was presented by fashion students at the Miami International University of Art .

According to a McDonald's Press Release, "The aspiring designers utilized more than 4,600 McDonald's sandwich wrappers, 1,770 fry boxes, 1,100 straws, 600 to-go bags, 500 sandwich boxes, 200 soft drink cups, 500 ketchup holders, and 100 McFlurry cups."

The twenty "one-of -kind clothing designs" left the crowd crave for more than a Big Mac and fries. The collection included mini and mid-length skirts, ponchos, fringe, evening gowns, handbags and even McDonald's bride-to-be wedding dress made with over 900 white wrappers and 60 yellow ones for the bouquet.
