Adele Pranks as Jenny the Nanny with Fake Nose

Adele has successfully pulled a prank as one of her own impersonators.

The "Hello" singer donned facial prosthetics, including a fake nose and chin, and walked into a group of Adele impersonators and auditioned as Jenny. Adele also wore long black gloves to hide her tattoos. Her team of makeup artists also made sure her facial features are somehow not obvious, so they made her eyes look bigger and lips look small.

With her new look, Adele was given a new name: Jenny the nanny. The singer also got into character by speaking slowly to disguise her distinct accent. Her reasons? "Nannies speak very slow and very calm to try to make the world make sense."

When asked how long she has been an Adele impersonator, "Jenny" she had been impersonating Adele for four years. She also said, however, that things have been slow for her lately because there is "not much of a demand". This is in reference to Adele's comeback after four years without any albums released.

'Jenny' also got to interact with other impersonators while they were called one by one to the stage.

When it was her turn to audition, 'Jenny' pretended not to feel well. "I'm actually feeling quite sick. I'm feeling a bit dizzy," she says, leaning on one of the Adeles, inhaling deeply and moving to sit down.

After pretending to suffer from nerves, Adele returned to the stage to sing. This was the time that her impersonators started to recognize her signature voice and realized that it was the star herself.

"It was just beautiful," one says, wiping away tears after the pop star revealed herself.

The audition was held at New Wimbledon Theatre in London and is part of "Adele at the BBC. Adele's latest album, "25," was released on Friday. Unfortunately, the song is not yet available on Spotify or Apple Music.
