Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may have not been granted their request to sit next to each other at this year's American Music Awards but the rumoured rekindling exes appeared to have caught up with one another at Bieber's after-party.
Bieber, 21 and Gomez, 23 were spotted together in a romantic date at Beverly Hills on Friday sparkling rumors of possible reunion. Although they didn't appear publicly at the red carpet on Sunday's event, the Same Old Love singer was snapped leaving the Sorry crooner's after-party with a huge smile on her face.
The Heart Wants What It Wants songstress exited her ex-boyfriend's party earlier after the long night with people wondering what really had happened inside LA's The Nice Guy.
An on-looker told People Magazine the two were "just friendly" at his private party which was also the celebration of his number one album Purpose.
"Kourtney [Kardashian] and Kylie [Jenner] brought a cake out for Justin to celebrate his number one album," the on-looker added. Also present were Gigi Hadid and One Direction.
Surprisingly, Bieber left his celebration bash with another girl, singer Halsey, whom he collaborated with in his single The Feeling. The two left the venue via JB's black SUV.
So what really is the real score between #Jelena?
An insider spoke to People magazine saying them getting back together still isn't happening. "They care about each other and miss each other, but they're not getting back together right now," the insider said.
So Bieber and Gomez might have decided to focus on their individual careers for now.
As Beiber explained in Ellen, "We always respected each other and we still respect each other," he said. "I think we both gotta do some soul searching ourselves, and figure out ourselves before we can just try to figure out each other."
