Ellen Page Movies - The 27 year-old Actress is famous for being very talented and playing characters in controversial movies, where she tends to be one of the smartest characters, witty, funny and sarcastic. But today we will share a new clip her best movie... if she would have done it.
Ellen Page and Kate Mara have acted in a segment of Funny Or Die, the Emmy-winning videos website that was founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. They tend to have famous actors as guests and this time, they decided to do a sketch clip of a parody trailer from the show True Detective, called Tiny Detectives.
The whole issue started out as Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell have been announced to star as the detective pair in the show and the fans of the first season were unhappy about it, as The Wrap has noted. One of the fans said in Twitter, "I'm seeing True Detective S2 will star Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn. Imagine having two shots at an open goal, and missing with both."
Fans were asking for a female lead and not still two men. So, Funny Or Die decided to make people happy and make this parody in which Ellen Page and Kate Mara show that they should lead the show indefinitely. Or like The Huffington Post said, "Kate Mara and Ellen Page Are The 'True Detective' Stars We Deserve."
Ellen Page is known for starring before in Hard Candy (2005), Juno (2007), Whip It (2009), Inception (2010), The East (2013) and several other movies as well. But in the last years, she has been doing more serious and dramatic characters, so this is a genius breather from all of that.
