Bill Clinton Credits Vegan Diet for His Good Health

Bill Clinton, who is part of the campaign team for wife Hilary Clinton, strictly adheres to his plant-based diet, no matter where he is.

The former president was in the campaign in Las Vegas for his wife Hilary. He then made a surprise visit to the Vegan Café "simply pure".

According to the reports of Politico, Clinton was in an elated mood chit chatting with the patrons. He was crediting the owner and Chef Stacey Dougan.

Then he went through the dishes on the menu. He was so happy with the menu and said, "I would weigh 50 pounds more if I lived here because this looks so good. This is great. A lot better than what I eat".

When the chef asked the former president about his favorites and preferences he said, "I like all Italian stuff. Lasagna, I like the chili enchiladas, they nailed the meat substitute stuff. It is used to be when I started this, it was inedible. It is so much better now."

Clinton after going thoroughly through the menu decided to settle with green chili enchiladas along with a nacho sampler for to-go, according to People Magazine. He was taken away by the cashew cheese sauce and vegetable protein that topped the nachos brilliantly.

Talking about his change in diets the former president explained, "My doctor asked me to eat organic salmon once a week. I do, I would just as soon be without it. The vegan diet is what I like the best. I have more energy, I never clog. For me the no dairy thing, because I had an allergy, has really helped a lot. And I feel good."

Clinton proudly said that the plant-based diet is the reason for his existence. He pours the credit to the Vegan diet that helped his heart to stay healthy.

The Simply Pure Vegan café might come up with a dish named after Clinton following his visit as it a tradition in existence.
