Utah Family Found Dead - In Springfield, five family members, including two parents and three children ranging from the ages of 11 to 14, were found dead by an older son.
What allegedly happened was that the older son and his girlfriend were with the rest of the family during the day. In the afternoon, they both left and got back at 7 pm. Once they returned, everything was quiet and the master bedroom closed.
The older son called Kristi Strack's mother and when she appeared, they got the door open and found the five family members cautiously positioned and dead.
Kristi Strack was the mother of the family. Along with her in the room were Benjamin, her husband, and three of their children: Benson, who was 14, Emery, who was 12, and Zion, who was 11.
The investigators stumbled with different elements inside the room: "methadone bottles, 10 empty bottles of nighttime cold medicine and two boxes of allergy medicine in their garbage, along with a red liquid substance in Pepsi cups."
Together with that, "a bag of marijuana and other medications, a purple bucket with yellow liquid, red juice and sleeping pills," CBS reported.
The five family members were found dead on Sept. 27 and since then, the investigation is partly a mystery. One possible cause is poisoning, due to this mixture of different elements close to the family.
Apart from that, one detail that has called the attention was the placement of the bodies. Apparently, it looked like someone exterior to the family had positioned them after they were dead already, People noted.
To add up, the older son found it odd when he saw all the family members together in one room. They all had different rooms, so to be together in such a way was strange. The Utah police will continue trying to solve and determine the cause.
