Channing Tatum Net Worth - Originally born as Channing Matthew Tatum, the 34 year-old actor, dancer and producer has some tricks under his sleeve.

His current net worth is valued at $50 million dollars, according to Celebrity Net Worth, which is a wonderful number for the "Magic Mike" actor.

How did he build his number and why does it look like it'll only grow unstoppably? Channing Tatum became a known actor after being the main character together with Jenna Dewan, his later wife, in "Step Up" (2006).

In the movie, he performed all the dances. She did as well. They are both dancers and were before becoming actors.

After that, he was in "G.I. Joe" (2009), "Dear John" (2010) and "The Vow" (2012). The last two movies mentioned were of a romantic nature. The dancer didn't show any of his "moves" in them, but he proved to be a talented actor.

During 2012, though, also came the movie which was one of Channing Tatum's best decisions as a producer, "Magic Mike." He produced the film together with Steven Soderbergh, who was the director.

Both of them invested money from their personal pockets and luckily, they made a wonderful bet. Forbes mentioned that once the movie made millions in the box office, Channing Tatum and Soderbergh took a nice quantity with them.

Also, it's scheduled for 2015 the second part of this story, "Magic Mike XXL." And with it, the actor is securing a great net worth in the future.

In his personal Twitter, Channing Tatum makes posts promoting his latest movies and not long ago, a contest for "Magic Mike XXL" which had as an aim to promote the film further before even ending the filming.

"Want a chance to be an extra in #MagicMikeXXL? Check out our #MagicMikeContest," he posted on Sept. 19.

The conditions behind said contest included taking pictures and spreading the word about the movie all through the social network. Whoever did a better job at it, got the prize to be an extra in the film.

"Big thanks to all the #MagicMikeXXL contest winners! Hope you had a great time as extras in the movie," he later on posted on Oct. 28.

Part of the charm in the contest was not only to get to see the actors pull the crazy dancing numbers, but also being able to take pictures of it and posting them on the social network.

A win-win situation for Channing Tatum, who's certainly got a great business mind, among other things. We'll have to check on the progress of his net worth, as the release continues. Also, he's taking "Magic Mike" to Broadway.
