Mitch Winehouse Slams Channel 5's 'The Last Hours Of Amy Winehouse' Documentary

After the premiere of the critically-acclaimed documentary, Amy, Channel 5 released the documentary, "The Last Hours of Amy Winehouse" and the late Grammy winner's father, Mitch Winehouse, calls it an "absolute disgrace."

Channel 5's latest episode of the Autopsy series depicted the events leading to the singer's death.

Amy Winehouse was found dead inside her London home in 2011 at the age of 27.

All throughout the episode, actress Kate Robinson, who played Winehouse, was shown drinking, taking drugs and harming herself. In the final scenes, 'Amy' was seen throwing up in the toilet and lying face down on her bed before she was discovered by a security guard.

The Valerie singer's stylist and friend, Alex Foden, appeared on the program to share his memories with Winehouse.

"I used to wake her up and the minute she woke up she used to roll over and smoke heroin and smoke that without even leaving the bedroom," he said in his interview. "She'd see things that weren't real, she'd get paranoid over things that weren't even there."

"We all knew that this day was coming but we never thought it would ever happen," he added. "When we got to her house it was a crime scene and no one was allowed in. The last time I ever saw Amy she was in a body bag."

"She didn't want to be fixed," he said of Amy. "She was happy the way things were. It was the only way she could escape the madness that was going on around her."

After the documentary aired, Mitch Winehouse took his rage on twitter accusing Foden of exploiting his daughter.

"So doc told us nothing we didn't know. Just another exploitation of Amy by so called friends. Alex Foden you should be ashamed," he wrote.

"I've just been told it's Alex Fodden doing the doc. I hope he explains his role," Mr. Winehouse tweeted when he learned about the airing of the documentary. "Blake is a saint compared to Foden. Amy hated him."

The father of the Rehab singer also expressed the same disappointment in the film, Amy which was released in July.
