Mandy Moore Divorce from Ryan Adams, She Wants $37k Monthly for Spousal Support

The American singer and actress - Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams (singer-songwriter, musician and a former member of the alternative country band Whiskeytown) are currently involved in a messy divorce settlement, with rocker Ryan Adams refusing to pay Mandy Moore $37k in monthly spousal support.

Reportedly, the former celebrity couple are also arguing over their pets. The actress of the film 'A Walk to Remember' wants Ryan Adams to take four of their six cats in the divorce settlement. However, the divorce proceedings of Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams is put on a break until the couple can come to an agreement.

The 31 year old 'Only Hope' singer and the 41 year old Ryan Adams revealed in January, that they were splitting up just ahead of their sixth wedding anniversary.

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams stated in a joint statement through their representatives at the time, "Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost six years. It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time."

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams married in 2009 in Savannah, Georgia, after dating for about a year. And the celebrity couple does not have any children.

The actress and the singer-songwriter are currently arguing over Mandy Moore's demand for spousal support. And the former Whiskeytown band member is reportedly refusing to make regular payments.

A media outlet obtained documents claiming that the rocker makes around $150,000 monthly while Mandy Moore only makes a quarter of the rocker's amount.

Mandy Moore is also requesting that Ryan Adams will take four of their eight pets for the reason that Mandy Moore is having a tough time taking care of them all. The couple has six cats and two dogs together.

And the only thing that Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams can agree on, is splitting the mortgage on their house.
