Foods can comfort you when you are sad or feeling blue, depending on whether the one served to you is your favorite or least favorite. There are also childhood foods that you grow up eating that somehow bring you a trip back to the past whenever you get a hold of them.

Some of us might even be an avid fan of the food that you get to stock a load of them in your pantry so that every time you feel like eating them, it is very accessible for you.

Foods can also attest and tell history, especially if they were released many years from the present time, making the foodies feel nostalgia in every bite. Here are some nostalgic childhood foods that will surely make you feel like a child in every bite.

Fruit Stripe

Who does not even eat candy when they were a child, like chewing gums flavored with fruit? Launched in the 1960s, Love Foods shares Fruit stripe. The memorable brand was released by Beech-Nut, which has a strong yet short-lived fruity flavor.

Candy Blog shares that these tasty gums' packages were a mic of five flavors, each with striped colors and that includes cherry, orange, mixed fruit, lemon, and lime. Love Foods adds that the zebra mascot named Yipes did not change ever since the gum was released in the market.

Hunt's Snack Pack

Released in 1968, Love Foods points out that these products are originally marketed as a healthy snack for kids. Snack Pack shares that the original packaging from the present packaging of snack pack was different because back in the 60s, their product was in a tin can with a pull tab top. They add that their classic packaging was featured in the movie Billy madison that hit the theaters in 1995.

Cup Noodles

Launched in the United States in 1971, Love Foods stress that this product developed by Nissin was invented in Japan. They add that this affordable snack is loved by students and is made famous by its streaming signs in New York City's Time Square.

Squeezit

Making their debut in the American market during the late 1980s, Pop Icon shares that Sqeueezit drinks came in four different flavors such as cherry, red punch, orange, and grape.

They add that what made these juice stand out is the bottles that feature characters, and its portability and squeezability, making it convenient for children as they drink the product. Love Foods notes that these qualities made the squeezit stay in every lunch boxes of children.

Rice Krispies
