Sweet Sushi: Fruits Maki

Ingredients
1 cup sushi rice
1 1/5 cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 sheets nori
Fruits (apple, strawberry, pear, or melon)
Maple syrup, wasabi, or chocolate sauce

Directions
1. Wash the rice 2-3 times. Mix rice, milk, sugar and vanilla in a pot; let sit for at least an hour.
2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for additional10 minutes. Transfer the cooked rice to a large bowl and let cool.
3. Slice fruits into strips.
4. Lay a piece of nori on a bamboo mat. Thinly spread the rice on the nori sheet.
5. Place fillings on the rice in the lower third. Roll up the bamboo mat, pressing gently. Repeat with another nori.
6. Cut each roll into 7-8 slices. Serve with chocolate sauce.

Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions
1. In a saucepan, heat chocolate chips and whipping cream over low heat. Stir constantly until the sauce is smooth.
2. Stir in vanilla.
