Fantasia Barrino Married: ‘American Idol’ Winner Weds Fiance Kendall Taylor

America Idol winner Fantasia Barrino and fiance' and "best friend" Kendall Taylor have tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony aboard a luxury yacht on July 19. The 31-year-old singer was so full of love she couldn't help but take to social media to share her happiness and thank everyone who helped with her 'unique and memorable' day. "How do we thank each and everyone who made Our Day one of the most unique and memorable days we will ever share," she wrote on instagram.

She also shared a pics of their gorgeous cake, dinner table and flowers all decorated in her favorite colors, red, black and white. "As we lay here reflecting we feel compelled to express our gratitude to Brian for giving me away and keep Dallas settled the entire ceremony and dinner." Dallas Xavier Barrino is the singer's 3-year-old son. She also has a 13-year-old daughter named Zion. "Thank you Our Mothers (Diane & Donna) for witnessing your babies take fight!," Fantasia continued. "To our Bridesmaids and Groomsmen, thank you for being patient and encouraging throughout this event and all of our lives...And to those who texted, called, or prayed during this week and up until today... Know that we love you and we know that if we had more capacity you would have been there, but you were still there in spirit... Now... We are The Taylor's.... Here we come!"

Fantasia Barrino was born to Diane and Joseph Barrino. She began singing at the age of five. Barrino's own family would travel and perform in the Carolinas and elsewhere in the American South and recorded the CD Miracles for a local label. In late August 2010, the ex-wife of Antwuan Cook, Paula Cook, accused Barrino of knowingly pursuing a relationship with her husband despite knowledge of their existing marriage. In December 2010, a North Carolina judge ruled in Barrino's favor, stating the Cooks' separation date was September 14, 2009, and not June 2010 as Paula previously claimed.

No information was given yet as to how the decision of the court will affect Paula's original plan to sue Fantasia under North Carolina's alienation of affections law, which allows the abandoned spouse to file a suit against the individual(s) responsible for the failure of the marriage.
