Make Potato Chips, Quesadillas And Brownies In Your Microwave

Who would have thought potato chips could come just right out your microwave?

According to Food Beast, microwaves can turn potato slices into crispy and yummy chips.

First, on top of your cutting board, slice the potatoes into very thin pieces. Food Beast's Molly Shannon says "the thinner the chip, the better it will cook."

After you're done with the chopping, pat your slices dry with a paper towel or a napkin. Once totally dry, toss your potato slices into a microwavable dish and sprinkle it with salt or any seasoning you like.

After spicing up, shove the dish inside your microwave and wait for about three to five minutes.

Once you hear that ding, carefully get your chips out and sprinkle it with flavored powder (cheese, sour cream, barbeque) of your choice.

Aside from potato chips, you can go Mexican with your microwave too!

My.recipes.com shares the easy steps on how to make home-style Quesadillas.

To start with, spread flour tortillas on top of a microwave-safe plate. Add toppings like sausages, beans, and lots of cheese. Cover the toppings with another piece of tortilla before putting the whole thing inside the microwave.

Once the tortillas soften and the cheese melts into a delicious filling, carefully get your Quesadilla plate out and cut it into pizza slices before taking the first bite.

For those who love sweets, though, might want to try the microwave brownies.

In your bowl, mix and stir these ingredients: 1/4 pound of unsalted butter cut into 8 pieces; ¾ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder; 1 1/2 cups of sugar; 3 large eggs; 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract; and 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour.

According to My.Recipe, "place butter and cocoa powder in a large microwave-safe bowl," and microwave on high until the butter melts, which is about 30 to 90 seconds. Then add sugar and whisk until mixture cools down. Then whisk mixture in eggs and vanilla, before stirring in flour and scraping batter into the prepared dish.

"Microwave on high until brownies are just set in center, 4 to 7 minutes," the website added, "depending on power and size of your oven." Once the brownies are baked, cool it down for 10 minutes and cut into squares and serve.
