'Constantine' Is Back! Matt Ryan Announces 'Arrow' Cameo On Twitter [VIDEO]

John Constantine may no longer have a show on NBC, but Matt Ryan is making a comeback as the DC Comics exorcist in a CW TV series!

The 'Constantine' star has just confirmed that all the crossover rumors are true. Matt Ryan took to Twitter to post a video with the caption, "The Trench Coat is being dusted off. #Constantine #Arrow @CW_Arrow @amellywood looking forward to it. #thisfall."

"So this message is for all of you Hellblazer and 'Constantine' fans out there," Ryan said. "And it's also a message for all of you 'Arrow' fans. The rumors are true. John is coming to Starling City. I'll see you this fall."

The news was previously confirmed during The CW's Television Critics Association press tour presentation, where 'Arrow' showrunner Matt Guggenheim expressed his excitement over having Matt Ryan in the show.

"We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of 'Arrow,'" Guggenheim said. "Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved character was always something we admired."

Marc Guggenheim also admitted that the 'Constantine' crossover came at the perfect time.

"The introduction of magic and mysticism on the show this season has provided a truly organic opportunity for us to bring John Constantine to 'Arrow' and the CW's DC universe," he said. "It will be a well-deserved tip of the hat to all the 'Constantine' fans who were so incredibly supportive of that series."

Matt Ryan will be featured in episode 405, which has been given the apt title 'Haunted.'

'Constantine' was based on the DC comic series 'Hellblazer,' which features the supernatural detective and demon hunter John Constantine. Despite relatively good reviews, the show was cancelled after only one season.

The fourth season of 'Arrow' airs on the CW on October 7, 2015.
