JK Rowling Twitter: Draco Malfoy And Neville Longbottom Fighting On Twitter, ‘Harry Potter’ Author Couldn’t Be More Proud Of Hogwarts Alums

Now that the multimillionaire author of the "Harry Potter" books is on social media - and very actively so - it seems like not a week goes by without some news from J.K. Rowling's Twitter, whether she reveals new information about a character or even comments on everyday events.

Now, the latest news from J.K. Rowling's Twitter sees the British writer affectionately applauding two young men she saw grow up before her eyes, as actors Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis (Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom respectively in the series about the Boy Who Lived) have been fighting on the social network - but it's all in good fun.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it seems like Felton and Lewis have remained friends even years after shooting for the last film ended (interestingly enough, considering their on-screen characters pretty much hated each other), and so they were both "fighting" on Twitter, bringing back the old Gryffindor versus Slytherin debate - and, of course, J.K. Rowling's Twitter saw the author weigh in on the whole thing.

As Cosmopolitan reports, the whole thing started when the two actor friends started talking on the social network about Felton's upcoming film, with Lewis showing his full support for his Hogwarts pal, then referencing what seemed like a friendly sporting event they'd be facing each other on, with Felton using the hashtag #Gryffinwho and Lewis responding he'd be getting "Slytherinsed" - and then came J.K. Rowling's Twitter response.

"So proud of my boys," wrote the author, according to Jezebel, as she posted a screen capture of their friendly fight. "Even after all these years, they still want to kick each other's arses."

Of course, this is hardly the first time that J.K. Rowling's Twitter sees the writer publicly interacting with the two stars, as she once told Lewis to cover himself up after a steamy photo shoot and said to Felton that she already knew he was a born Gryffindor in spite of playing Malfoy on the big screen.

Let's hope that the next J.K. Rowling Twitter comment going viral also involves Emma Watson!
