Kanye West Bares All in 2-Hour Live Interview

Kanye West has always been one to lets his feelings known. The rapper and fashion designer doesn't shy away from the spotlight and always tells it like it is.

The polarizing figure was even more expressive than usual yesterday, as he sat down for an intimate one on one interview with fashion photographer Nick Knight's SHOWstudio. Speaking with editor Lou Stoppard, West voiced his opinions on a variety of topics, ranging from his latest line of footwear with Adidas, to which of his seven studio albums he feels is strongest.

Here are some of the best bits of the whole conversation, which is available for viewing in full on SHOWstudio's youtube channel for a limited time.

Kanye think's 808's, Heartbreak and Yeezus are superior albums to My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fantasy:

"Dark Fantasy is almost like an apology record. 'Power' was the least progressive song I ever had as a lead single. It was kind of piecing together what people liked about me to make a bouquet of what people loved. People talk about it like the way they love Thanksgiving dinner, but how long was that dinner cooked for?

He thinks his Yeezy line of sneakers are the most wanted shoes of all time.

"Is there a time when he can go on the Internet and find a shoe people want more than my shoes? Well, go fuck yourself then if it isn't, and don't ask me stupid shit like that again."

And of course, this being Kanye, there had to be some grandiose proclamations in their somewhere.

"Excuse me, this is going to be a really true, straightforward statement: The majority of things that are popular now are really directly based on something that I've done in the past 10 years. You can pinpoint it."

Regardless of your opinon on the man, the interview is certainly a fascinating watch. Check it out while you can.
