Fans expecting a faithful adaptation of Jane Austen's work in the "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" trailer will be greatly disappointed, but they might still be happy to know that Lily James' Elizabeth Bennet is an even stronger female lead in the upcoming film.
As the "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" trailer reveals, this twist on Austen's classic tale about Lizzie and Mr. Darcy is certainly not focused on ladies' abilities to draw and sing, but rather on a post-plague scenario where the dead have risen - and ladies have to suit up to fight them.
The "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" trailer shows James as well as the rest of the film's all-star cast, including "Doctor Who" alum Matt Smith and "Game of Thrones" star Lena Headey.
