Kaley Cuoco Covers Up Wedding Date Ink, Thanks Tattoo Artist For Helping 'Right My Wrongs'

Kaley Cuoco is moving on from her marriage with Ryan Sweeting and that means getting rid of the tattoo she got in honor of it, too.

People Magazine reports the Big Bang Theory actress posted a photo of her new tattoo in Instagram on Tuesday. "Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs," she captioned a shot of herself with the tattoo artist doing the drill behind her.

"Note to self- do not mark your body with any future wedding dates," she added, with a "crying tears of laughter" emoji and hashtags "#under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids."

Cuoco then uploaded the final look of her new ink which looked like an intricate design of an insect.

"The deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this beautiful piece of ink, is..... It covered the last one," she wrote.

The new tattoo covered the date of her wedding with Sweeting. The former couple tied the knot on December 31, 2013.

Couco filed for divorce from Sweeting in September citing "irreconcilable differences" on court papers. According to sources, both the actress and the tennis player "seemed miserable" right before they decided to end their marriage.

Hollywood Life reported Sweeting was becoming too hard to deal with following his injury.

"Ryan was home all the time," a source revealed. "He was dealing with an injury and would be kind of a party pooper and would really want people to feel bad for him."

"Kaley's life on the other hand, is going pretty well right now and she is a very fun loving person," the source continued. "They had a lot of good times together, but the change in his demeanor following his injury made him different from the person she fell in love with. She decided that it would be better to move on because things weren't helping to change his attitude."

After the split, Cuoco kept herself busy going out with friends and joining horse-jumping competitions.
