The latest reports claimed that the reunion of the classic lineup of American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, won't take place for another two years.
The current circulating report about a reunion of the Guns N' Roses' classic lineup has been firing up ever since the summer, when the British and American musician, songwriter and guitarist - Slash, revealed that he and Axl Rose (the lead singer and only remaining original member of Guns N' Roses) had reconciled their relationship after nearly 20 years of feuding.
But now, a report on the U.K.'s Loaded site, asserts that "megabucks offers" have already come in for the band (whose debut album - Appetite for Destruction was released in 1987) to perform two British festivals at Isle Of Wight and Download as part of the band's comeback tour.
As stated by the U.K.'s Loaded site, part of the explanation that the Guns N' Roses reunion won't happen until 2017, is to allow Guns N' Roses' lead guitarist (Slash) and lead vocalist (Axl Rose) to finish all their existing commitments.
It has been said that lead vocalist Axl Rose will regroup several of the musicians from the most recent 2016 version of Guns N' Roses to have more performances, as a way of "showing some loyalty" to the current bandmates of Axl Rose.
However, the closest anyone came to a Guns N' Roses reunion concert in recent memory, was when GN'R was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012. Three original members of the Guns N' Roses band, including Slash, bassist Duff McKagan and Steven Adler (drummer), showed up, but lead singer Axl Rose and guitarist Izzy Stradlin were nowhere in sight.
And at the time, Slash commented in several interviews that the Hall Of Fame ceremony gave him a sense of "closure."
