Pabst Brewing Company Sold: Apparent Ownership Is Now Of Oasis Beverages, A Russian Company

Pabst Brewing Company Sold: Yesterday, Sept. 18th an announcement was made in TSG Consumer Partners that established the beer brand to have been sold to Oasis Company, a Russian famous brand.

The Pabst Brewing Company has been standing strong since 1844 and named after Frederick Pabst, a German-American brewer who founded this brand. One century and a half later, approximately, the brand changes hands and it is given to Eugene Kashper.

TSG Consumer Partners has noted, "Eugene Kashper announced today that Oasis Beverages has entered into a definite agreement to acquire Pabst Brewing Company. TSG Consumer Partners will acquire a minority stake in Pabst as part of the transaction."

The Oasis Beverages is a Company that has started in 2008 and does import of drinks, manages the license production, and also makes their own drinks. Some of the brands they already deal with are: Heineken and Perrier for imported, Bavaria Beer for license production and in their own brands, they have the Gorilla Energy Drink and Stare Misto.

The headquarters of the PBC will not change and still remain in Los Angeles, California. Everyone in the deal, according to the note, is very happy.

As a matter of fact, Eugene Kashper has said that PBC is a brand that represents America and all its values, so he is more than joyful about taking part in such a project with the American Brand.

PCB's most famous products are Pabst Blue Ribbon, which to most people is the beer of the young people and Lone Star, which is equally famous and drank.

We will have to wait and see if Oasis Beverages ownership makes any significant change into the handling of things and the spreading of the beer internationally. The major market will definitely happen between two of the biggest countries, mainly.
