Danica Patrick NASCAR Secrets: Daytona 500 Racer Shares How To Destress

After the spin that caused her car to slide down, Daytona 500 racer Danica Patrick had to end the race earlier. The crash raised the red flag up for six minutes due to the debris and contact. Patrick reported to her crew that Ryan Newman's No. 31 Chevrolet and Jeff Gordon were to blame after these got in her racing line. David Ragan, who knew that Patrick's car hit the wall, was trying to slow down but unfortunately, not slow enough to avoid the wreck.

The race is always in an intense for everyone who gets in the car. As Patrick has to learn the hard way, she managed to find an inner peace by doing what's necessary to calm her mood. Showing off her skills in yoga pose in front of a class sponsored by Nature's Bakery, Patrick was glad that she could share some of her talents alongside yoga guru, Morgan De Young in Daytona Beach.

Patrick admitted that she always relies on Yoga when it comes to de-stressing. "Endorphins that you produced when you workout is a positive thing and it makes me have more productive days outside the race," she said.

Yoga, for Patrick, is a way to feel better after feeling tired and exhausted steering the wheels in an intense car race. She also worships Yoga due to its calming essence. It is definitely a foolproof way to be more concentrated. Patrick practices Yoga as it affects on her heart rates and how she breathes in the car.

Patrick told the Sporting News that her boyfriend, Ricky Stenhouse Jr doesn't feel the same thing about Yoga. He thinks of it as baby steps rather than a mood enhancer. Both have a different approach on how they spend the day. Showing off a pose on her Instagram, she busts a move while her boyfriend is sleeping on a couch behind her.
