Prague Should Be Your Next Foodie Vacation Destination

The cold brisk wind whips through the streets on an early spring evening in Prague. As temperatures hover around freezing, only one dish warms the soul this evening. Upon opening the door to Krčma the smell of comfort greets us like warm blanket-braised meats, baking spices, simmering herbs, and fried potatoes.
Nothing beats Czech goulash on a cold evening, and by the crowd of locals convening in this cozy pub, it is evident we have found goulash heaven. After forty years of communist control, Prague obtained its freedom in 1989. Although the City of a Hundred Spires remained in tack during the occupation, communism took a toll on Prague's cuisine. However, focused efforts over the past few decades is finally paying off-Prague is now one of the hottest foodie cities in Europe.
