In a hilarious statement, one of the most famous soccer stars in the world has confessed that he is also an embarrassment to his children, as it seems like David Beckham's kids will often ignore their dad as he's doing things as normal as just picking them off to school!
Everyone has stories about being embarrassed by their fathers, so it's not surprising that this applies to every child in the world, including David Beckham's kids; Brooklyn Beckham, his oldest child with Spice Girl turned entrepreneur Victoria Beckham (née Adams), seems he can't wait to get rid of his famous dad when David picks him up at school.
According to The Telegraph, David Beckham's kids find their dad just as embarrassing as everyone else finds their own, as he does things as standard as dropping them off at school and telling them he loves them - something that has made Brooklyn insanely uncomfortable.
As The Daily Mail reports, the recent revelation about David Beckham's kids came during a famous show in the UK, "Good Morning Britain," where he was interviewed by Susanna Reid.
Though he appeared on the show to discuss his initiative with UNICEF, it was his story with oldest son Brooklyn that made news across the globe, as he recounted how the 16 year-old was so embarrassed by his dad's constant displays of affection that he asked David to drop him off at the corner of the school instead of the front door.
"He's at the age now where he does not want me to drop him off outside school. He does not want too much affection but, yes, I still kiss him," said Beckham in the interview. "He said 'Can you drop me round the corner?' ... As he was walking in to school, I wound down the window and shouted 'I love you' to him. He was not happy but it made him smile a few days later."
In any case, David Beckham's kids definitely got some of his dad going on, as The Mirror reports that Brooklyn is already showing some mad soccer skills as he trains in the youth team for the Arsenal club.
