Last week, we were introduced to an extraordinary group of geniuses led by main protagonist Walter O'Brien. Expert behaviorist Toby Curtis, mechanical prodigy Happy Quinn and statistics master Sylvester Dodd comprise the members of the group called Scorpion. The team was summoned by the government when a crisis at LAX left dozens of airplanes unable to land. Fortunately, the misfit geniuses found a way to figure out the dangerous hack that was designed to kill thousands. This week, a new crisis will surface when a mysteriously "bio-hacked" deadly virus spreads in the city. Can Walter and his team save lives before the virus even takes them? The official synopsis of Scorpion season 1 episode 2 titled "Single Point of Failure" reads: "The Governor calls on Team Scorpion when his daughter is mysteriously "bio-hacked" with a deadly virus and has only 24 hours to live. Meanwhile, the case takes on a deeper significance for Walter after he receives a letter regarding his sister."
